CYFD's 2nd Annual (virtual) ICWA Summit

Tuesday, October 12, 2021 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

This Summit will be an opportunity to strengthen families and kinship connections by advancing the gold standard principles of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) and cultural connections. State and Tribal representatives and other key stakeholders will be provided with CYFD’s focus, commitment, and energy to working collaboratively with Pueblos/Nations/Tribes and families on active efforts towards reunification and relative placements. State and Tribal representatives will be presented with learning opportunities which will guide them in their roles as child welfare leaders today and in the future, to make informed decisions in the best interest of Indian children, their families, and their Tribal communities.
