Our team “Milo the Hulk” rides for our son Miles (Milo) who was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (DLBCL) in December 2019 at the age of 3. He had disease in his neck and his kidney. Thanks to the LLS and research the MACC Clinic at CHOW knew exactly what chemotherapy regimen he would need to beat this. Knowing that our medical team had the information and research to be absolutely positive of the drugs to give him without wavering is all you ask for as a parent of a child with cancer. It gave us the confidence to know that he was in the right place, getting the right treatment. We ride to support everyone getting a second chance because they deserve it.
We found out in March 2020 that after 4 intense rounds of chemotherapy + a primer round and endless intrathecal chemotherapies that he is officially in REMISSION! We are so grateful for LLS, MACC Fund, CHOW, the staff that treated him and all our friends and family who support Milo’s mission. Every cancer patient is a hero. They teach us to be strong, preserve and enjoy every second we get on this beautiful earth.
