TUDOR R WILLIAMS CFIOSH, DTD Training

Tudor has operated DTD Training since 1997. He is a Chartered Fellow of IOSH and a specialist in the education and work-based learning sectors. He has worked for many years supporting projects with the LSC and latterly the SFA designed to implement higher health and safety standards with providers.

He has also provided inputs to devolved administrations on health, safety and quality compliance as well as advised HSE on amendments to the health and safety guidance for apprenticeships and work-based learning. Tudor continues to work with provider groups, including AoC, to advise and guide and to drive improved standards of health and safety compliance and delivery.

A significant part of the business, and Tudors specific area of expertise is the improvement of operational standards and delivery in training providers health and safety management systems. He works closely with his customers to offer guidance on compliance from board level standards of operation to the requirements for field staff and day to day operational management systems. DTD Training is an approved centre for IOSH health and safety training programmes as well as for ProQual for the delivery of NVQs in occupational health and safety practice to level 6 where Tudor is the lead assessor.

Tudor is chair of his local branch of IOSH and contributes extensively to furtherment of professional membership and standards with regular collaborations across member groups, he also has responsibility for apprenticeships as part of the IOSH Education Group, one of their standing committees for furtherment of best practice. Tudor lives in South Wales, is married and has 3 children and operates the business with his wife and fellow Director Sylvia.
