Our first online conference is dedicated to Autism in Infants and Toddlers.
The dramatic rise in autism cases has led to increased attention being paid to assessment and intervention issues. Our knowledge of autism in early childhood has seen significant advances. Evidence suggests that early intervention is crucial in treating children who are at risk or diagnosed with autism. Despite markers being identified in the early developmental period (DSM-5), early intervention services often begin later. Expansion of early services is therefore necessary.
Understanding, assessing and treating very young children with autism by such means is crucial for early childhood mental health and family well-being. These topics will be addressed by our guests - researchers, practitioners and world-renowned experts on autism in infancy and toddlerhood.
The conference is aimed at professionals including psychologists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, special educators, social workers, child psychotherapists, pediatricians and professionals from other related occupations, students and parents.
The online conference will be held on 12th and 13th of November 2021. All lectures will be in English language.
