About the Summit
The NHF State of the Science Research Summit is a virtual, community-driven dialogue hosted for the first time September 12-15, 2021 to agree on actionable research priorities that can create real and lasting impact for people with inherited bleeding disorders.
The Summit will bring together multi-disciplinary experts from a wide range of fields that shape bleeding disorders research, clinical care and patient support, as well as patients, caregivers and allied community members, for discussions on six critical themes for research.
Sessions will feature testimonials on pressing unmet needs in care, plenary presentations summarizing research opportunities and panel discussions, during which the entire community is encouraged to participate.
Key outcomes from the Summit dialogue will be organized into a National Research Blueprint, which will define specific research priorities and opportunities for community collaboration to achieve our desired impact.
