LETTER FROM THE CHAIR

Dear Colleagues:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our 2021 Metabolic & Endocrine Disease Summit (MEDS) Virtual Event. This innovative CE/CME experience will take you on a unique learning journey. Starting from the moment you enter the Virtual Conference Center, you’ll find live-streamed sessions presenting the latest education in metabolic and endocrine disease and engaging activities such as a poster hall and virtual exhibit hall.

A team of dynamic faculty comprised of nationally recognized, highly credentialed NPs and PAs are not only passionate about metabolic and endocrine issues, they’re passionate about education.

Take a seat in the Live Theater, where audience interaction will be enhanced by polling questions and ample time for live Q&A. Don’t miss your chance to participate in the Backstage Pass—a 30-minute post-symposium conversation connecting the program speakers and audience in an intimate interactive session where you can address case-based questions, gain valuable insights, and facilitate relationship building.

This conference will replicate the in-person conference experience, by including:

  • Peer-to-peer learning in the Virtual Poster Hall
  • Networking opportunities in the Lounge
  • Friendly and fast-paced competition via MedChallenge
  • Interactive booths in the Exhibit Hall (without lugging a tote bag!)

Each recorded and accredited session from the conference will be on-demand through October 2, 2021. An enduring summary will also be available online following the conference. CE credit will be offered.

The US health care system continues to be burdened by two noteworthy trends: the epidemic of diabetes and the ongoing shortage of endocrinologists. We launched MEDS to empower our fellow clinicians with the expertise needed to step into these high-demand areas of practice and provide vital care to the growing number of patients affected by metabolic and endocrine disease.

I look forward to your participation, and I am confident you will find MEDS to be an invaluable way to elevate your competence in providing clinical care.

Sincerely,

Scott Urquhart Signature
