Keynote Presentation: Surviving the Isolation of a Pandemic


Kaleena Chilcote, MD

Dr. Kaleena Chilcote completed a residency in adult psychiatry at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill followed by combined fellowship training in psychosomatic medicine through the Brigham and Women's Hospital and psycho-oncology through Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She previously served as the Medical Director for the Division of Psycho-Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hillman Cancer Center. She joined the team at the West Virginia University Cancer Institute in early 2019 to serve as the Director of Psychosocial Oncology.  

Kaleena specializes in mental health care for patients with cancer of all types and stages.  She has won many awards for her teaching and is passionate about incorporating education on mental health into medical education across disciplines.
