What is the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit?

The Leaders Summit will convene more than 2,000 of the world’s foremost corporate sustainability leaders to discuss and debate the values of the UN, the future of multilateralism and the role that principles-based business can play in driving progress on the Global Goals.

Through a combination of inspiring plenary sessions, exhibitions, interactive workshops and networking opportunities, the Summit will feature innovative examples of how multistakeholder partnerships are unlocking new business opportunities and capital, while also driving impact on the ground.

For the past 20 years, the UN Global Compact has been building a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create the world we want. Now, we need the right kind of leader to take this movement to the next level. If you are a corporate sustainability leader, or aspire to be one, we invite you to join us in New York, June 2021.


When and where will the Leaders Summit 2021 take place?

The UN Global Compact Leaders Summit will take place on at the United Nations Headquarters and at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 429 11th Ave, New York, NY 10001. For more information on the venues, please check the venue page under the Get Ready tab.


What is the programme of the Leaders Summit?

The Leaders Summit programme is currently under development. Please check the Agenda tab for the most updated programme. Check back regularly as updates will be finalized over the coming months. Registered participants will also receive regular programme and speaker updates as they become available.

What is Uniting Business LIVE?

To mark the opening of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, our special event Uniting Business LIVE from 21 to 23 September will virtually convene leaders from business, Government and civil society to showcase their commitment to the UN’s mission.
Over a series of three forums, leading Chief Executives, corporate sustainability experts and business leaders will come together to take stock of the state of the world, address gaps in progress, drive business ambition on the SDGs and highlight cooperative and actional solutions that are ready — today. These themes will run throughout multi-stakeholder panels, live General Assembly presentations and CEO interventions, and will encourage a global cross-sector dialogue through programme-themed meet-ups, interactive breakout-sessions and exposition booths.

What are the costs involved with participating in Uniting Business LIVE?

Registration is complimentary to all employees of UN Global Compact participant and signatory companies and non-business stakeholders, as well as ICC and UN DESA affiliates. If your company is a UN Global Compact, ICC, and/or DESA participant please email us at unga@unglobalcompact.org for your complimentary link. For Non Business and Non Global Compact members the fee is $299 USD

Is there any registration criteria for attendees?

No, Uniting Business LIVE is open to all companies and attendees of all levels and titles. Please share the registration link widely. We want to make this event as inclusive and informative as possible.
 


What will be the language of UnitingBusiness LIVE?

All mainstage sessions at Uniting Business LIVE will be conducted in English.

How do I access the sessions?

Uniting Business LIVE will take place on a virtual event platform called Hopin where you will be able to access all sessions.
