Masterclass 1: Two-Step Appeal
From Facebook to phone conversion
Have you ever wondered how to run a successful digital acquisition campaign? The combination of digital and phone provides an interactive, two-way channel in which we can bring the donor into the equation so they’re already engaged when we ask them to become a regular giver. We all know that if we focus solely on transactional conversions, donor attrition rates climb. By understanding and responding to the donor’s attitudes and motivations, we end up with quality over quantity - and still deliver meaningful scale.
Join Andrew Martin and Clarke Vincent from The Fundraising Agency, and Karina Rottinger from tele-agency Public Outreach, to explore digital fundraising from a relationship theory angle. They will unpack the thinking and research behind it; how it translates into the concept and creative development; then into the call guide where you prime and reflect identity, enabling testing and validation and setting up the best foundations for retention.

Masterclass 4: Virtual and Multimodal Events
Join the Chair of FIA as we deep dive into virtual and multimodal events.
Over the past few months, many charities have been challenged to look at how to deliver existing events in their portfolio in a virtual format, while other charities have seen opportunities to launch new virtual fundraising ventures in this space.
How can you best position your existing or new event to cope with the vagaries of lock downs and uncertain economic and physical environments? How can you develop a virtual event proposition that could still leverage the opportunities around face to face involvement? We'll use real life case studies, as well as practical exercises, to cover how to develop a new virtual event proposition (or pivot an existing physical event), and implement an agile marketing and communications campaign to maximise your chances of success.
