SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

 

System Requirements for accessing a Zoom Webinar

You must have a good internet connection. To access the webinar please click on the link in your invitation email – do this at least 10 mins before the scheduled start time. You will have the opportunity to interact with the tutor using audio. To do this you will need to have working microphone – preferably attached to headphones, or be using your phone. Before you enter the session you will see a box like this.

 

 

Access by Phone

If you want to access the session using your phone, click on the phone tab (sound quality is often not as good as via the computer).

 

Access by Computer

If you want to use your computer audio (i.e. you are using a headset with mic) please use the option to check your audio is working, before clicking on the option to ‘Join with Computer Audio’. If it is not, you will need to check your Sound Settings via the Control Panel function in Windows, or Mac equivalent.

 

Other Essentials

You can join a session using a PC, Mac, Linux, iOS or Android. If you have not attended a Zoom webinar session before then you really need to click on this link and watch the video on Joining a Zoom Meeting zoom.us/resources please.
