Abstracts Now Open!

The Western Protective Relay Conference (WPRC) is an educational forum for disseminating, discussing and networking on broad and detailed technical aspects of power system protection.

The 2020 program will bring you the latest technologies in power system protection and the experience from their recent applications in the field. The papers cover everything from the new communications technologies and standards to the latest application of traveling waves. The applications cover everything from the traditional generation, transmission and distribution to the new developments of distributed generation and microgrids. As the electric power grid is rapidly changing, WPRC aims to bring you the latest in how the engineering of protection is adapting to the new environment.

Over 600 individuals attend from around the world. WPRC has hosted attendees from 45 states, Canada, Mexico and 31 other countries.

This year's conference will be held in the Exhibit Hall area of the Spokane Convention Center. Sessions will be held in the Centennial rooms. The DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center is the host hotel.
