Q. Where will the conference be held?
This year’s conference will be held at the Gold Cost Convention & Exhibition Centre from Thursday 29 September – Saturday 1 October 2016.

Q. What are the deadlines for abstract submission, scholarship applications, and registration and accommodation bookings?

The deadlines are as follows:

Abstract submission: CLOSED
Scholarships submission: CLOSED
Earlybird Registration: 31 July 2016
Accommodation booking: 14 August 2016
Final registration: 18 September 2016

Q. What is the climate usually like for this time of year?
The conference is taking place in Spring (September - November) which has a similar climate to Autumn, with Sunny days followed by mild tropical evenings.

• Mean Maximum temperature for September - October: 23.8 - 25.2
• Mean Minimum temperature for September - October: 14.8 - 16.9
• Mean number of days of rain: 5.3 - 6.7 

Q. Are hotel transfers available?
The hotels listed on this website are either within walking distance to the conference venue or the Light Rail system on the Gold Coast can be used. Therefore transfers to or from hotels will not be provided. 

Q. What is the dress code for the conference?
During the conference days, smart casual attire is preferred. For the social functions smart casual attire is recommended.

The conference registration includes catering for morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas. You will also receive daily conference sessions with our informative and entertaining speakers.
