About the President's Global Seminar -- China 2020

For decades, Union Presbyterian Seminary (UPSem) has been a leader in providing transformative travel seminars for students, alumni, and seminary friends to Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe.  Now, it is your turn to participate. The President’s Global Seminar was established to provide opportunities for seminary friends to expand cultural horizons through international encounter.  We begin with an educational excursion to China.  We will see the country, meet the people, engage the history, and experience the intersection between the Church of Jesus Christ and the culture of contemporary China.  Come journey with us.  UPSem’s international classroom has set aside a seat just for you.

 

This unique travel seminar is being led by Dr. Brian Blount, President and Professor of New Testament at Union Presbyterian Seminary, his wife, Sharon Blount, as well as Dr. Eleanor (Bunny) Alexander and Dr. Lewis Galloway. To see their full bios, click the Leaders tab on the top toolbar. 

About the Interest Group

Are you interested in learning more about the President's Global Seminar? If so, join the President's Global Seminar Interest Group by clicking the Join Interest Group button located in the top right corner of the screen.

The Interest Group is for all individuals who are interested in traveling to China with Union Presbyterian Seminary, October 14-27, 2020.  To join the Interest Group, simply fill out the online form to indicate your interest in joining this travel seminar as well as signing up to receive more details as they are released. The program costs per participant are estimated to be between $5,975 to $6,275 per person, depending upon the number of individuals who participate. Individuals that complete this form will be contacted by Union Presbyterian Seminary and will receive further travel seminar details and instructions for registration. Registration will open December 2019. Space is limited.
