WEBINAR OVERVIEW
The MERC SECURE-C® web-based training program is designed to provide practicing orthopaedic and neurological spine surgeons the knowledge required to perform SECURE-C® Cervical Artificial Disc surgery and achieve optimal clinical results. All webinar training courses are led by expert surgeon faculty and include a didactic presentation, case studies, hands-on sawbones instrument demonstration, and a review of device implantation.
It is an FDA requirement that all surgeons are trained and certified on the use of SECURE-C® before implanting the device.
WEBINAR TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Sales representatives must be present at the remote location with the surgeon trainee.
- Ensure that there is a wireless connection to access the webinar from your remote location.
- Surgeon must view the presentation and perform a sawbones demonstration via the webcam to the surgeon proctor.
- MERC manages shipping of all materials including sets.
- Representatives must coordinate the setup of all training materials for the session.
- All training materials must be returned to Globus the following day.
