This event will:

The RI Corporate Access New York event includes:

  • SDG3 Good Health and Wellbeing
  • SDG5 Gender Equality
• Engagement facilitation for constituents (investors and corporates) of the Climate Action 100+ initiative.
• Access opportunity for corporates and investors supporting investor relations programmes through 1-1 or small group meetings.

About the Corporate Access event: 

• The event will take place on 4th and 5th December 2019.
• Corporate access meetings may be 1-1 or in small groups.
• Bespoke, targeted engagement will be conducted according to the goals of the corporate and investor participants.
• There will be space provided for 1-2-1 and group meetings, each lasting 40-50 minutes as well as for the fireside panel sessions with audience capacity.

Facilitating Engagement for Constituents  (investors and corporates) of Climate Action 100+: 

The RI New York Conference will offer constituents of the Climate Action 100+ group, both focus companies and investor signatories, the ability to privately convene over the two-day conference. With 600+ investor and company delegates attending the conference, Responsible Investor aims to support this initiative to achieve its goals by providing meeting spaces for stakeholder engagement. RI Corporate Access meetings will not be posted on the RI conference agenda.

Climate Action is an investor-led initiative to ensure the world’s largest corporate greenhouse gas emitters take the necessary action on climate change. The companies include 100 ‘systematically important emitters’, accounting for two-thirds of annual global industrial emissions, alongside more than 60 others with significant opportunity to drive the clean energy transition.

Climate Action 100+ is coordinated by five partner organisations: Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC); Ceres; Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC); Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC) and Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).
