Conference Guest Programs

Note: Guests must be registered for the 2016 conference to attend guest programs.
Conference name badges required for participation. If any guest program is cancelled by
PSATS for failure to meet minimum registration, a full refund will be provided.
A PSATS chaperone will be present on all guest programs.

MONDAY, April 18 • Wine Tour & Lunch • 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. • $70
Enjoy a day touring (and tasting!) some of the many wineries that now call central Pennsylvania
home. Leave Hershey Lodge behind and visit some old and some new vineyards and sample their
best stuff! All tour guests will receive a commemorative tasting glass, a souvenir wine cooler bag
for use in the gift shop, and a handy corkscrew to share your new bounty. A sandwich buffet lunch
will be provided at the area’s fastest growing winery (and now brewery!). The bus departs the
Lodge at 9:30 a.m. and will return to the Lodge by 4 p.m.

MONDAY, April 18 • Landscape Painting Class @ Hershey Lodge • 9 to 11 a.m. • $30
Back by popular demand! Join a master artist in a hands-on class in which participants will paint
a real landscape painting! Not only will you spend a relaxing morning learning how to paint, but you
will enjoy humor, optimism and just plain fun as the instructor describes and shows how to perform
the various brush strokes to be used. Participants will get individualized help with their painting.
The class starts at 9 a.m. and will end by 11 a.m.

MONDAY, April 18 • Baseball Game & Dinner • Harrisburg • 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. • $35
Join us for an evening of America’s favorite pastime when the Harrisburg Senators, the AA
affiliate of the Washington Nationals, play the Altoona Curve, the farm team for the Pittsburgh
Pirates! The fee includes a premium reserved seat behind home plate, an all-you-can-eat ballpark
dinner buffet, and transportation to and from the ballpark. The bus departs the Lodge at 5:30 p.m.
and will return to the Lodge by 10:30 p.m.

TUESDAY, April 19 • Sight and Sound Theatre & Lunch • 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • $99
The world's first superhero ... the strongest man who ever lived... but he's not a hero because of
the strength of his hands, he's a hero because of the faith in his heart! One of the most captivating
stories in the Bible, “SAMSON” at Sight and Sound Theater is filled with colorful characters,
extraordinary feats of strength, and amazing special effects. NOTE: Lunch and shopping will not be
available until after the show ends at 1 p.m., so it will be important that guests attending this play
eat a filling breakfast prior to departure. The bus departs the Lodge at 9:30 a.m. and returns to the
Lodge by 4:30 p.m.

TUESDAY, April 19 • Gettysburg Battlefield Tour • 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • $50
Learn more about the pivotal battles of the Civil War on our guided tour of the Gettysburg
battlefield. Starting at the National Park Service Museum and Visitor Center, you can explore the
Gettysburg Museum of the Civil War, watch the acclaimed short film "A New Birth of Freedom,"
and visit the Gettysburg Cyclorama, the fully-restored 360° cylindrical painting depicting "Pickett's
Charge." After lunch on your own at the on-site restaurant, we finish the day with an educational
two-hour guided bus tour of this hallowed ground. The bus departs the Lodge at 9 a.m. and will
return to the Lodge by 4:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, April 20 • Pennsylvania Bingo • Hershey Lodge • 9 to 11 a.m. • $25
Join fellow bingo enthusiasts for a morning of fun and games with “Pa. Bingo”. Twenty games
of bingo will be played, and all prize baskets contain Pennsylvania-made products. The games
start at 9 a.m. and will end by 11 a.m.
