Do you still need to book a hotel room?
If you did not reserve a hotel room during registration, the host hotel room block is sold-out. However, we have a block of sleeping rooms on hold at the JW Marriott Washington, DC.
Rooms are available from Sunday, June 16 - Wednesday, June 19, 2019.
The JW Marriott is a 15-minute walk from the host hotel, Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel.

Travel Arrangements for Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers (MIPPA) Grantees Only
Travel for MIPPA grantees will be arranged directly with NCOA. If you have been notified that you are a supported traveler (e.g., a MIPPA state representative) you will receive a travel code in your registration confirmation email to book your flight, your travel support will include:

Pre-paid travel arrangements to and from the conference (airfare, train travel)

Pre-paid lodging during the conference (up to three nights between June 17-19) at the conference hotel (Sunday, June 16, may be paid, if travel arrangements cannot be made so you arrive in D.C. by 1 p.m. ET on June 17)

Reimbursement of meals that are not otherwise provided during the conference at the Federal Government rate

Reimbursement of incidentals including ground transportation costs, up to $75
All travel arrangements should be made via the conference travel agency, Travel Leaders, no later than Friday, May 10, 2019.
Benefits Enrollment Center (BEC) representatives should book their own travel and hotel, to be paid for using their NCOA grant funds.

PLEASE NOTE: Before confirming your ticket with Travel Leaders, please be absolutely sure of your travel dates and preferred itinerary, as any changes to booked tickets or cancellations could result in fees that cannot be covered by the conference. By booking your ticket with Travel Leaders you agree to reimburse NCOA for any of these additional fees and costs.
Lodging
Once you have booked your flights/train tickets via Travel Leaders, we will set up and prepay your hotel room reservation at the conference hotel based on your travel dates. Please note that the conference will only cover up to 3 nights of lodging (room and tax only).
Parking
The Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown hotel is just five miles away from the airport and near many public transportation options. They offer valet and self-parking options located near the hotel. Daily fees provide guests with in/out privileges. Valet fee includes tax.

WMATA (Metro)
The Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel is conveniently reached from the Ronald Reagan Washington National airport via the WMATA Metro system. From the airport terminal, walk to the National Airport Metro Station and take the Yellow Line train to Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station (located at 7th and H Streets, NW). A one-way trip costs approximately $2.30 and takes roughly 30 minutes.
