Apply for a scholarship to attend Age+Action

NCOA is offering 20 scholarships to enable individuals and organizations to attend the 2019 Age+Action Conference.

What’s Included

Scholarships include:

  • $350 conference registration fee for one individual, which covers food (all meals June 17-20, except lunch on June 19) and all conference materials
  • $850 toward hotel accommodations at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel ($279 per night, plus applicable state and local taxes)

Any expenses not covered by the scholarship are the responsibility of the individual or organization. Only one scholarship will be awarded per organization.

The scholarships are made possible through support from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and are funded by the National CDSME Resource Center and National Falls Prevention Resource Center.

Who Is Eligible

  • Eligible: Individuals from nonprofit organizations and state/local government agencies; former CDSME and Falls Prevention grantees and current grantees with no-cost extensions.
  • Not Eligible: Current ACL CDSME and Falls Prevention grantees; staff of NCOA-funded Benefits Enrollment Centers, NCOA-funded SNAP grantees, or those whose attendance is otherwise supported by NCOA’s Center for Benefits Access

Individuals selected as conference presenters via the call for proposals may apply, but are not guaranteed to be selected as scholarship recipients.

Key Dates

  • March 11: Information released
  • March 29:  Applications are now closed
  • April 19: Recipients notified
  • June 17-20: Age+Action Conference (Scholarship recipients are expected to attend the full event)
