The Mountain West Transforming Care Conference is a regional interdisciplinary conference that brings together primary care providers, advanced care clinicians, mental health providers, and more to advance the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ communities.

AAFP CREDIT:
The AAFP has reviewed Mountain West Transforming Care Conference 2023 and deemed it acceptable for up to 23.25 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 05/22/2023 to 05/24/2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AMA/AAFP Equivalency - Providers may choose to include the following in addition to the AAFP credit statement:
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.

NASW-UT Credit:
The "Mountain West Transforming Care Conference" approved for 23.5 credit hours, including 1 suicide prevention credit in the live and home study categories.

Utah Psychological Association (UPA) Credit:
Applied for 22 credits. Approval pending.


Application for CHES® (entry-level) / MCHES® (advanced-level) Category I continuing education contact hours (CECH) has been made to the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC).

Sponsored by the MWTCC, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES®) to receive up to 14.75 total Category I continuing education contact hours. The maximum number of advanced-level CECH available is 12.75. Continuing Competency credits available are 0.


 

 

The Mountain West Transforming Care Conference is collecting registration fees to help support the University of Utah Transgender Health Program. The AETC receives no funds.
