Workshop Description

In this interactive workshop, participants will be introduced to and begin to utilize various teaching and learning styles to aid in teaching and learning across differences. The workshop will specifically utilize Multiple Intelligence Theory and Kolb Theory. Participants will engage in various practices and exercises to become familiar with teaching strategies and tools targeted for each learning style and intelligence, and restructure a lesson plan using those strategies and tools.


What Participants Need to Bring and Expect

Please bring a hard copy of a previously taught lesson plan and be comfortable for movement at one's own pace.


Registration Fee:

Early Registration (ends April 14, 2023): $20

Standard Registration (begins April 15, 2023): $25


Housing

Limited housing on campus is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may select housing, for an additional cost, during registration. On-campus housing includes single and double occupancy rooms, with each room having a private bath. The current cost per night for one person is $50. The cost per night for two people in a room (shared room) is $37.50 per night, per person. If you are interested in on-campus lodging, during the registration process there will be a "Hotel Reservation" page/tab.
