Dell Wise - "Mind the Gap" Panel and Networking Session

The World Economic Forum has predicted that if current pace is maintained, the gap between genders within the workplace will be closed by 2095 (80 years away!). Numerous statistics have shown that companies benefit from gender equality in improved performance, happier customers and more satisfied employees. Moreover, compelling data reveals that companies with women leaders produce better financial results.

Gender equality has made positive gains, however more is required to bridge the gap between Male and Female equality in the workplace. Women are still under-represented in leadership roles, pay gaps between the genders, biases, stereotypes and discrimination still exists.

‘Mind The Gap’ panel & networking session hosted by Dell Services together with Wise Qatar (Dell’s Employee Resource Group focused on Gender Diversity) aims to discuss how Dell is actively promoting diversity across its global locations, including the Middle East, with an opportunity to share best practices and create new practical ideas/initiatives which can be implemented to help bridge the gap between the genders within the workplace.
