FAQs

ATTIRE:


Business casual attire is appropriate for daytime programs, cocktail attire for evening events.

Comfortable walking shoes are suggested for offsite excursions.

The average daytime temperature in London in May is 15°C/60°F. Guests are encouraged to bring at least a light to moderate weight jacket for cooler mornings and evenings, as well as an umbrella.  

 

TRANSPORTATION:


Heathrow Airport (LHR) is the U.K.’s largest airport and is an approximately 45 minute drive by taxi to the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. London's famous black taxis stop outside each Heathrow terminal, and you can pay with cash or credit card. Drivers are fully licensed and have passed the Knowledge of London examination. 

London’s Heathrow Express offers a train service between Heathrow and Paddington Station in just 15 minutes. The drive from Paddington Station to the Park Plaza via is then approximately 22 minutes.

Gatwick Airport (LGW) the second largest airport in the U.K. and is an approximately 1 hour drive by taxi to the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. There are taxis outside both the North and South terminals.

GUEST & YOUNG LEADER POLICY:


Members are encouraged to invite and bring, in addition to any other guest, a high-potential young leader, age 25-35, for this global exchange. There are special registration fees for guests and Young Leaders that entitle them to attend all sessions of the program except the Member Dine Around. A guest dinner is planned for all guests and young leaders.

 

IWF PAYMENT POLICY:


Full payment of registration fees must be made at the time of registration. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express).

 

IWF CANCELLATION POLICY:


Cancellations must be submitted to IWF Registration via email iwf@executivevents.com within the time periods noted below.
 
Cancellations requested within 24 hours of the registration date will be refunded 100% of the fees paid, minus a 2% credit card processing fee. For cancellation requests made after this timeframe will be subject to the cancellation policies listed below.
 
Cancellations received by April 17 will be assessed a cancellation rate equal to 15% of total registration payment received.
 
Cancellations received between April 18 and April 30 will be assessed a cancellation rate equal to 50% of total registration payment received.
 
No refunds will be provided for cancellations received May 1 and later. Given IWF policy, no exceptions are allowed. However, the registration is transferable to another IWF member or guest to attend the same conference. The cancelling registrant has the responsibility to find a transferee and must notify IWF of the transfer prior to the conference opening.
