Thank you to everyone who attended the FT Italy Summit 2012 which took place on 12 November 2012 in Milan. The event was a huge success attracting over 200 delegates from a cross-sector audience of international C-suite level delegates from companies interested in investing in and doing business with Italy. Summit OverviewThe Italian economy is at a crossroads, and politics, now driven by Prime Minister Mario Monti, and supported by a bipartisan majority, has to play crucial role. The question on everyone's lips is, can the administration deliver on the commitment to give a boost to the Italian economy, through reforms and liberalizations? The answer will determine not only the future of Italy, but of the Euro-zone economies too. This strategic 1-day summit - taking place at an historic crossroads for Italy and the EU - will bring together industry leaders, policy-makers and investors to discuss the route the new administration is attempting to navigate. It will also look at the risks, challenges and opportunities facing international business interests in Italy, and discuss the amplified role of Italy within the region and on the global stage.
