Dr. Barton-Burke works extensively with clinicians and researchers from medical oncology and behavioral medicine faculties. She is the author of more than 30 books and 11 chapters on cancer treatment including symptom management of bone marrow transplantation/stem cell transplantation and patients with graft versus host disease.

Lee is driving an effort at his hospital to get his institution to No. 1 in the Northeast in patient experience by 2023. Recently, he used the results of his last published study to convince his institution’s leadership to reallocate staff to his team to achieve this goal.

Dr. Steinheiser has more than 30 years of nursing experience in acute care, home infusion/home care, long-term care, education, and regulatory environments. Her research interest is compassion fatigue and its effects on nurses, patients, and organizations. Dr. Steinheiser's most recent research on compassion fatigue among nurses in skilled nursing facilities has been supported by grants from the University of Arizona and Sigma Theta Tau.

Juvel-lou Panisales Velasco, MSN, RN, AGACNP-BC, CCRN, MSN-AGACNP, has had diverse experience during her 15 years as a nurse. Currently, she is a cardiology nurse practitioner at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, the Golden Key International Honour Society, the American Nurses Association, the Maryland Nurses Association, and the Philippine Nurses Association of America. In 2016, Baltimore magazine named her one of the city's Top Nurses. Her IV Lifespan evidence-based project was published on the Johns Hopkins web site. She is a 2018 graduate of Walden University.

Mary Elizabeth M. Younger, PhD, MA, BSN, RN, CRNP, is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her clinical practice and research involve the care of patients with primary immunodeficiencies. Dr. Younger is the most recent recipient of the Immune Deficiency Foundation's Art of Nursing award, which is presented to a nurse who has made substantial contributions to the care of patients with primary immunodeficiencies. Dr. Younger speaks nationally and internationally, and is a published author.

Abigail Zuehlke, RN, CRNI®, is a second-career nurse currently practicing in the Ambulatory Infusion center and Medical Intensive Care environments. She has a passion for supporting and advocating for the needs of the nursing clinician at the point of care to support not just patient outcomes, but professional job satisfaction for the practicing nurse. A dedicated lifelong learner, Abigail is currently studying at the University of Virginia. She has a keen interest in infusion therapies, which she will carry on into her future AG-ACNP practice as a dedicated CRNI®.
