Dear APEC Members, 

We are pleased to extend to you our warm greetings and invite you to the 14th Meeting 
of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Implementation Team meeting to be 
held from 21 to 24 June 2010 in Seattle, Washington.

As you may recall, the 13th APEC GIT meeting (GIT/13) was held from 26 to 29 July 2009, 
in conjunction with the APEC Transportation Working Group meeting in Singapore.  
GIT/13 followed the GNSS Technology Innovation Summit on 26 to 28 May 2008, held in 
Bangkok, Thailand in association with the GIT/12 meeting.  The Summit included GNSS-
related experts from all transport modes.  

The 13th APEC GIT tabled a draft Strategy for 2010 – 2015 with an emphasis on 
intermodal GNSS transportation applications that will serve as the focus of the GIT/14 
meeting.  We are hopeful that APEC economy delegations will include 
recommendations to the draft strategy in their presentations. We also encourage 
inclusion of industry members on your delegation. We plan an industry round table on 
the second day of the GIT/14 meeting.
