Plan Ahead Events of is pleased to present the First Annual Sprint For Soliders 5K benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. This event will be held on Sunday, August 11th, 2013 at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown, NY.
This is a competitive yet fun and friendly event. The timed race allows you to run, jog or walk a scenic route with family and friends along the beautiful grounds of Lyndhurst !
There will be an Awards Ceremony for top race performers for Age Groups and Teams. There will be music, snacks and of course, a special tribute to all Military participants.
Registration Fee will include:
· An official Sprint For Soliders Dog Tag
· Top 3 Male and Female Awards By Age Group & for Teams
· Goody Bag with Offers and Discounts

· Certified 5K Course
· Special Tribute to Wounded Warriors
Sprint For Soliders is happy to support our beneficiary, Wounded Warrior Project. This event will raise awareness for this organization which began when several veterans and friends, moved by stories of the first wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq, took action to help others in need. What started as a program to provide comfort items to wounded service members has grown into a complete rehabilitative effort to assist warriors as they transition back to civilian life.
