Jonathan Oleisky President Kalix Marketing

 

 

 

 

Jonathan brings 25 years of publishing and marketing experience to guide Kalix’s work. Much of his expertise was forged in the arena of magazine and newspaper publishing, and as such, he has honed an exceptional ability to problem-solve. As associate publisher, Jonathan led the re-launch team that successfully repositioned Science News in Washington, D.C. He has led business efforts for eight additional magazine and newspapers in the mid-Atlantic. His experience in and understanding of the independent school world is equally as deep, offering him a unique ability to connect with and counsel heads of school, admissions directors and marketing and communications leaders. Since 1992, he and his family have lived at Garrison Forest School. His wife is chair of the Science Department and, together, they have guided two daughters through the school and on to Kenyon College and Bowdoin College. He has participated fully in the life of a boarding community as an on-campus family member, and as such, has a strong understanding of the unique ecosystems that provide the foundation for an excellent independent school.
