Geordie Mitchell has literally spent his life on school campuses. He was born and raised on the campus of St. Paul’s School in Baltimore and began his own independent school career at Trinity-Pawling School, an all-boys boarding school in New York where he taught, coached, advised, and served as both the Assistant Director of the Capital Campaign and the Director of Admission. Called back to his roots, Geordie returned to St. Paul’s for 14 years. During that time, he served as the Director of Development and the Director of Admissions. He was the Assistant Head for External Relations at Wilmington Friends School where he oversaw the admissions, development, and communications departments before returning to admissions in his current role as Director of Enrollment Management at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in Cambridge, MA. Geordie’s experience has encompassed grades PK-12, day and boarding, and spiritual and secular schools. A founding and current Board member for AISAP, Geordie has been a frequent presenter at conferences and workshops around the country and abroad on various aspects of enrollment management.
