Bio

Shawn studied Speech Communication and Psychology as an undergraduate at California Polytechnic State University and holds an M.S. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution from George Mason University. He has presented at a variety of conferences across several disciplines on topics related to leadership, team development, and conflict resolution, and once served on the roster of certified mediators for the Supreme Court of Virginia. Shawn is a qualified administrator of several leadership and personality assessment instruments including Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, DiSC, and Emotional Intelligence. Having led several engagements with dentists, including facilitating similar workshops for the AGD Board, Shawn has come to appreciate many nuances of this audience, including their natural inclination towards attending to minute details.  Therefore, this program will leverage individual strengths in a manner that allows participants to better understand working and collaborating in a group environment.
