Downtown Dallas is a continuously growing area with a beautiful arts scene, urban green spaces, fine dining and luxurious shopping. See the hustle and bustle of professionals by day, and experience nightlife and entertainment after dark. In Downtown Dallas, don’t miss the Dallas Farmer’s Market, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Crow Collection of Asian Art or the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.

Just a tad north of downtown Dallas and connected by Klyde Warren Park, Uptown is a dynamic district with more than its fair share of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife destinations that are as popular with those calling the neighborhood home as they are with visitors. If looking for a local beer and a great backyard with local bands, be sure to check out The Rustic, a restaurant hangout with a casual atmosphere were anyone can feel at home. For a livelier, more colorful evening, plan to check out the House of Blues Dallas, also located in Uptown.

In West Dallas, be sure to explore the latest area to be revitalized in Dallas, Trinity Groves, a trendy and diverse foodie mecca. This 15-acre restaurant, retail, artist and entertainment destination sits at the base of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in West Dallas. Pay a visit to a brewery, culinary events center and multiple restaurants. The area is also home to the Restaurant Concept Incubator program, which encourages culinary entrepreneurs to develop restaurant concepts to become the newest addition on the block.

After a delicious meal, get out in the Dallas sun on the Trinity Skyline Trails, the first hard surface trail with breathtaking views of the Trinity River and Downtown Dallas. The trails stretch nearly 5 miles and are the perfect spot to work off dinner from Trinity Groves, just steps away from the trails' main entry way.

Head further west of Dallas and find something exciting to explore no matter which way you head. From the glorious wineries of Grapevine to the adrenaline-filled adventures of Arlington, BIG doesn't stop outside of Dallas. The area is also home to DFW Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world and a quick ride away from Downtown Dallas, thanks to DART's Orange Line. Grapevine’s historic Downtown is filled with shops, boutiques and art galleries to explore. The city is also home to more than 200 restaurants and several wineries, making it an excellent and exciting day trip.

For the sports lovers, a visit to Dallas isn't complete without a trip to Arlington. Two professional teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers call the city their home, and you'll find Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor just 20 minutes from Downtown Dallas.
