The Parliament Buildings, the seat of Canada’s government and a national landmark.  Then Discover the Hill as your guide gives you a tour of the grounds with its many statues and monuments.  Enjoy the view cross the magnificent Ottawa River.

The first eight locks of the Rideau Canal, the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Ontario.  An incredible feat of engineering, the canal was built between 1826 and 1832.  The canal runs 202 kilometers from Ottawa to the City of Kingston on Lake Ontario.

Ottawa’s ByWard Market, the hub of the city’s “street level” activity since 1846.  Your guide will take you back in time with many stories and anecdotes of the market as you meander through cobblestone courtyards.  The ByWard Market is one of Canada's oldest and largest open-air farmers’ markets, and within an area roughly four blocks square, you will find specialty food shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, cafés and more!

Finish your tour at the Courtyard Restaurant, where you will be treated to a three-course meal, located in a heritage limestone building in the heart of the ByWard Market.  The contemporary menu is brought to new heights with its emphasis on using local farmers and producers to create seasonal menu items.  Menus are created with the finest seasonal items and produce in mind.
