WELCOME to the 2017 Pacific Regional Conference.
This is an opportunity for funders to network with other international colleagues, as well as, those from New Zealand. It is an exciting opportunity to hear about projects, funded by international and New Zealand Foundations and Trusts.
Three impressive keynote speakers will focus on indigenous issues, while more than 20 groups from North America, Australia, the Pacific and New Zealand will present their projects in half hour sessions.
We strongly urge, and welcome, anyone in the funding or philanthropy space to attend.
In addition to the robust and comprehensive programme, you are invited to join others on a variety of site visits on Monday afternoon and attend the Conference dinner on Monday evening.
The Ōtaki community will officially welcome conference attendees on Sunday and Monday at Te Wānanga o Raukawa, the conference venue.

“I’m really looking forward to the IFIP Pacific Regional Hui as an exciting opportunity for all New Zealand-based funders to meet with other philanthropic organisations from around the world, and to learn about their approaches to indigenous peoples’ development, both locally and internationally. The hui is for all funders who currently work with Māori, as well as those who want to increase their work in this area. It’s going to be a unique professional development opportunity that will not be repeated in New Zealand. I’d recommend it to everyone.” John McCarthy, The Tindall Foundation. |
