The annual IAU conferences is a key platform for leaders of higher education institutions and organizations to come together to discuss issues related to higher education. UNODC’s Education for Justice (E4J) initiative, a component of the Global Programme for the Implementation of the Doha Declaration, is an innovative and comprehensive educational initiative. E4J aims at building the capacity of educators to equip students with a better understanding of the issues that can undermine the rule of law, better equipping them to address these challenges. Overall, the objective of E4J is to empower the next generation to become socially responsible global citizens.
