  1. The AELP Events are organised courtesy of AELP (the Event Organiser) in collaboration with its respective partners.
  1. Confirmation of delegate place(s) will be sent to the originator of the booking upon completion of the registration form on the AELP registration micro site online.
  1. Joining instructions of the venue location can be found on the micro site, VENUE INFO tab providing details of timings, venue location with full postal address and a map.
  1. If you have not heard from AELP prior to start of the AELP event i.e. TWO DAYS, please contact the AELP Office on 0117 947 2099 or email memberevents@aelp.org.uk
  1. The allocation of attendee places on an AELP event upon registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. Once an event fully subscribed, the Event Organiser will assign the delegate onto to a waiting list.
  1. There is no charge for an AELP Member to attend a Sector Forum or Special Interest Group (SIG) event.
  1. If a Non Member delegate is attending an AELP Sector Forum or SIG Event, they will be subject to a delegate fee £99.00+vat which needs to be paid in advance by a credit/debit card. The delegate will be required to telephone AELP Office with their payment details to confirm their place.
  1. If a non member decides to pay by other methods of payment, an admin fee of £15 will be added to their total delegate fee. Their place will be provisionally reserved for five days. If payment is not received after the fifth working day, the delegate place will be released.
CANCELLATION / SUBSTITUTIONS
  1. Any cancellation made up to 48 hours prior to the event will be subject to a cancellation charge of £25.00 to cover the cost of catering and venue hire based on number of delegates. Cancellations can be made via email memberevents@aelp.org.uk or phone 0117 947 2099 or SMS giving the name of the person who will not be attending. Substitutions can be made to cover the place.
  1. Cancellation made after this period will be liable for the cancellation fee.
  1. Substitution of delegate place(s) by an AELP Member or Non Member is acceptable in advance of the event.
  1. If a Member is unable to attend a Sector Forum/Special Interest Group after initial registration, please contact the Meetings Administrator at the AELP Office via email - memberevents@aelp.org.uk or by telephone 0117 947 2099 as soon as possible, so that we can offer the delegate place to another Member to attend and helps AELP to minimise its venue hire cost.
  2. AELP reserves the right to change the programme, content, speakers and venue as necessary; or cancel the event totally (in which case we will contact all delegates concerned in advanced of the Event in respect of the cancelled meeting and arrange refund of any delegate fee payment made in respect to the cancelled event/conference.
