Peter Hacker was appointed Group Chief Innovation officer for Ed. (formerly Cooper Gay) in June 2016. As Member of Ed.’s Group Executive Team, Peter is tasked with providing risk and advisory solutions for corporations, enterprises and organizations and their respective boards that aim to proactively address digitized risks, disruption technology mechanisms (AI, Internet of Things, Blockchain Technology) and their impacts on boards' fiduciary duties and company's financials / enterprise risks structure and protections. Peter has two decades of global leadership experience and is a multi‐lingual, international expert in the field of cyber security, cybercrime and enterprise risk management. The focus of his work and research is across emerging and established economies, advising boards, risk stakeholders and risk associations. In this respect, he works as an expert for numerous international organisations, insurers and brokers developing industry specific strategies, policies and risk transfer mechanisms customised to Fortune 500 enterprises, regional and international organisations and individuals. Hacker is also the co-founder and partner at Distinction. Global, a specialised advisory unit of the Cyber Crime Research Institute, an independent global think tank dealing with aspects of cybercrime and cyber security. He holds an Economics Degree from the University of Applied Sciences Zurich and a dual MBA Degree from both London Business School (Distinction) and Columbia Business School (Honors).

Robin is a
Cambridge graduate who started a career in the law and used it as a launching
pad into top management at one of the world’s top 10 insurance brokers. He
changed career at the end of the dot com era, co-raising the funds to build
“e-Lloyds” and has ran operations at that business for 13 years. In
that time Robin has built a reputation as a visionary with the
ability to articulate and sell a vision of the future. For the last three years
Robin has worked as an independent consultant helping Insurtech Startups as
well as advising the incumbent insurance community on innovation trends and
their business implications. He is the co-founder of Instech London (www.instech.london) a London based
ecosystem for the insurance innovation community.
BEN LOVE | HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT | HISCOX
RE
Ben is Head of Business Development for Hiscox Re, the reinsurance operation of the Hiscox Group. He is responsible for global client and broker strategy, managing third party support from partner insurers and a member of the Hiscox Re Executive. Key to this position is the management of the underwriting pipeline and new distribution opportunities. Geographic scope is worldwide but with a focus on London Market and Lloyd's, North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. He joined Hiscox as an underwriter and his current role reflects the changes in the reinsurance and insurance markets and the need to engage proactively and strategically with current and prospective clients and brokers.
JÉRÔME SADLER | HEAD OF DIGITAL | NIIT TECHNOLOGIES
Jérôme Sadler is based at NIIT Technologies’ London office and has worked in the organisation’s product business – with the exception of an 18 month period with a senior role at Colt Technology Services – since 2010. He is an MBA and graduate of Cambridge University, fluent in three European languages, and his career has spanned the Capital Markets, Telecommunications and Insurance domains across the UK and mainland Europe. At NIIT Technologies he has focused recently on Cloud technologies – he led the implementation of NIIT Technologies’ Insurance products on the Microsoft Azure cloud – and he manages a technical team focused on Digital Innovation.
