Denise Ryan is a motivational pyromaniac. Denise’s trademark interactive programs address myriad workplace issues such as dealing with change, getting along with others, and staying motivated. Get ready to be inspired and ignited with Denise Ryan!

At GO! 2015, Denise will talk about one of the greatest challenges we all face in the workplace – keeping motivated. In her high-energy session, “Great Balls of Fire! Staying Motivated – No Matter What!” Denise will give you six steps for getting the fire back in your life and some quick tips for keeping yourself up. Christine Doyle, M.D., Coast Anesthesia Medical Group

Christine Doyle is a staff physician and President-Elect of the medical staff at O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, CA. O’Connor Hospital’s perioperative department has 13 Operating Rooms servicing the people of Santa Clara County with a reputation for medical excellence, superior skill and advanced technology.

Christine is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist who has worked in healthcare for her entire career and has been at O’Connor Hospital since 2002. Christine will speak in multiple sessions, first discussing policies and training for emergencies and provide real examples of emergencies and lessons learned. Second, Christine will help bridge the gap between billing and coding, explaining the basics to understand why we chart the way we chart.

Lori Beucler, MSN, RN, CCRN, BC-NE, CNO, Susquehanna Health

Lori Beucler is the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Williamsport Regional Medical Center, a member of the Susquehanna Health in New Milford, PA. Susquehanna Health is a four-hospital integrated health system in northcentral Pennsylvania including Divine Providence Hospital, Muncy Valley Hospital, Soldiers + Sailors Memorial Hospital and Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Lori has held various positions with Susquehanna Health for over 6 years, has served on Surgical Information Systems’ Executive Advisory Board and received the SIS Perioperative Leader of the Year Award. At GO!2015, Lori will lead a session discussing changing reimbursement models and explore strategies and their potential impact.

Jolene Piersanti, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital

Jolene Piersanti is the SIS Solution Manager at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital’s New Brunswick campus. RWJ is considered to be one of New Jersey’s premier health system’s with over 10,000 employees, 3,250 medical personnel and over 1,700 beds. The health system has generated $1.5 Billion in revenue and was identified as one of the top 10 hospitals in the nation for clinical quality by the Commonwealth Fund.

At GO!2015, Jolene will teach the audience how to incorporate tissue data into their SIS analytics dashboards and hear about how RWJ was able to reduce waste and save money. Allen Yi & Stanley Lee, University of California - Irvine Medical Center

Allen Yi and Stanley Lee are in charge of Information Systems and Clinical Informatics at the University of California - Irvine Medical Center. At UCI Health, Allen & Stanley and their team members are devoted to improving the lives of the people in their community and beyond.

At GO!2015, Allen and Stanley will recommend best practices for SIS System Administrative and Clinical modules. They will also give you some tips & tricks and key policies for SIS super users and will participate in a Q&A session.  Don’t miss “Being a Great SIS Administrator”.

Ashlee Bower, RN, MSN, BSN, Informatics Nurse & Yvonne Martin, RN, Informatics Nurse, Susquehanna Health

Ashlee Bower and Yvonne Martin of Susquehanna Health System in Pennsylvania will discuss how multi-facility organizations can utilize milestone functionality within the SIS Com Communication Engine to streamline communication and enhance workflow throughout the perioperative department.

Ashlee and Yvonne have over 30 years of combined nursing experience in a variety of different healthcare settings. Ashlee is a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has a Master’s of Science in Nursing Informatics. She has nursing experience in ICU, CCU, OR and ASC environments. Yvonne has held RN positions in a number of departments, including 14 years as an OR nurse before taking her current roll as Informatics Nurse at Susquehanna Health.

Michelle Drake is the Business Manager at River Valley ASC in Norwich, CT. River Valley ASC is a 2 operating room, 2 procedure room free-standing, ADA compliant physician-owned multi-specialty ASC providing the highest quality of care to patients through the evaluation of new techniques and technologies.

Michelle has been the Business Manager at River Valley for the past 2 years and has over 18 years of business management experience in a variety of fields including healthcare and communications. In her session “Everything You Want To Know… And Didn’t Know You Needed To Ask About Implementing Amkai’s Inventory Module”, learn how the Amkai Inventory Module can support financial analysis at your ASC. 

Jon Van Valkenburg, Executive Director, Upstate Orthopedics ASC (UOASC)

Jon Van Valkenburg is the Executive Director at the Upstate Orthopedics Ambulatory Surgery Center in Syracuse, New York where he and his team strive to provide the highest standard of care in a professional, considerate and compassionate manner. A cornerstone of their ability to deliver on their mission is by attracting the best orthopedic surgeons in the area with state of the art facilities and technologies.

Since implementing Amkai at UOASC, Jon has heavily utilized the reporting functionality to help improve operational, financial and clinical outcomes at the facility. Pamela Ledger, Director of Nursing, The Ambulatory Surgery Center at St. Mary

Pamela Ledger is the Director of Nursing at the Ambulatory Surgery Center at St. Mary which is a freestanding multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center committed to providing high quality care within a safe environment to patients undergoing outpatient surgical and diagnostic procedures. The center is located on the state of the are St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA and is accredited by the AAAHC.

Pam will be leading one of our Amkai breakout sessions, discussing how the data mining and availability allowed through the use of EMR and management software can enhance your ASCs ability to evaluate and ultimately improve your processes and outcomes.
