FOCUS OF SATELLITE SESSION
Satellite organizers expect participants to develop a broader understanding of the dimensions of the surgical ecosystem in order to identify gaps and to integrate more effectively into larger health systems.
SATELLITE SESSION DESCRIPTION
Surgical ecosystems are complex. The session will address fundamentals common to surgical anesthesia, gynecology, and obstetric care worldwide, highlighting gaps and opportunities for strengthening health everywhere, especially in LMICs. The themes will include: defining the problem, exploring solutions, measuring impact, and partnerships for education. The focus will be sustainable, safe surgical ecosystems.
