For early arrivals, we’ve organised an optional tour of the extraordinary d'Arenberg Cube set in the beautiful McLaren Vale.
Each of the Cube's five levels have been carefully designed to entice and excite the senses, including features such as a wine sensory room, a virtual fermenter, a 360degree video room, and many other tactile experiences.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the Alternate Realities Museum, located on the ground floor, and view the many art installations on display.

Incorporating the Penguin Literary Prize Winner’s Announcement Sponsored by Penguin Random House
The Penguin Literary Prize endeavours to find, nurture and develop new Australia literary fiction authors. We will be joined by last year’s Penguin Literary Prize winner, Kathryn Hind, who will speak about her book Hitch (June) and hear the announcement of this year’s winner.

6.30-10.30pm Awards Dinner at The Adelaide Town Hall
The awards dinner is the time to dress up and celebrate. The 2019 Annual annual awards dinner will be held at the rather grand 1860's heritage landmark Adelaide Town Hall on King William Street.
Dinner will include the announcement of the Indie Book Awards 2019 Category Winners and Book of the Year winner.
It's time also to celebrate the work and achievements
of Leading Edge independent booksellers and the announcement of the
Bookseller of the Year Awards for Metro and Regional as well as Publisher of the Year and Small Publisher of the Year Awards. Guest author presentation on the night will be Archie Roach, acclaimed singer, songwriter and guitarist and campaigner for the rights of Indigenous Australians.
The Adelaide Town Hall is a short 5 min walk (distance 700m) from the Hilton Hotel.
