Marc Borelli Vistage Advisory Board Chair Vistage Worldwide Marc
Borrelli is a Vistage Chair. He has over 30 years of executive
management; investment banking and strategy experience representing and
advising companies and investors in all phases of corporate strategy,
business development, origination, valuation, structuring, and closing
M&A transactions. Borrelli assists and
coaches CEOs in his Vistage Groups to grow professionally and personally
to realize their goals and increase the value of their businesses. The
CEOs in his groups have businesses that cover a multitude of industries
and range in size from $1MM to $50MM in revenue. Before
becoming a Vistage Chair, he was an investment banker and had completed
over 120 transactions with a combined value over $4 billion. Marc has
advised on divestitures, private and public acquisitions (both hostile
and friendly), and strategic equity and debt restructurings for clients'
growth and operations. He has also led corporate development teams
completing acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures, and his
industry experience includes without limitation, hospitality, financial
services, industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, soccer clubs, and

Angela Covington Managing Director BG Talent Angela Covington currently serves as the Managing Director for BG Talent, a brand of BG Staffing, Inc. Although BG Talent is a newer organically grown division of BG Staffing, Angela has worked for BG for almost 5 years in various sectors. She was an integral part of developing the training program for BG Talents sister division which included bringing new talent into the industry, giving educational training, and partnering with clients to get these entry-level candidates onsite training. She is part of the process to develop that within the Commercial division as well. Prior to working with BG Angela worked in other Management/Recruiting roles that eventually landed her where she is now. With almost 10 years of experience working in staffing, recruiting, and Property Management, she is very passionate about her career path and hopes to do all she can to see a change in the staffing industry. | |
Shane Evans Dean of Economic Development Chattahoochee Technical College As the Dean of Economic Development at Chattahoochee Technical College, Shane Evans provides support, direction and supervision of business and industry training including outreach to area employers, determining workforce training needs and development and delivery of training. He is active with local and regional workforce boards and committees in Georgia. Evans began his career in higher education in 2003 as an
adjunct faculty with the Technical College System of Georgia and in
2005, he joined the faculty at North Metro Technical College as a
full-time instructor in Horticulture. Evans spent five years in the
classroom before assuming the role of Division Chair for technical
program after the merger with Chattahoochee Technical College, a
position he held until 2012 when he became the Associate Dean of
Technical Programs and Engineering Technology. As Chair and Associate
Dean, he worked closely with business and industry and program faculty
to develop academic training skills to meet current and future workforce
needs. Programs under his oversight included Air Conditioning
Technology, Automotive, Diesel, Industrial Maintenance, Horticulture and
Electrical & Computer Engineering. | |
Laurie Harper (Moderator) Director of Operations Cousins In
February 2019, Laurie Harper joined Cousins as Director of Operations
in Atlanta. She has more than 25 years of real estate expertise
including property management, finance and business development. As
Director of Operations, Laurie is responsible for the property
operations of Cousins’ 7 million square foot Atlanta portfolio. Prior
to joining Cousins, Laurie was the Managing Director for Cushman &
Wakefield’s Asset Services group, responsible for growing the firm’s
portfolio of properties managed on behalf of owner clients.
Additionally, she was responsible for ensuring a smooth transition as
new properties and staff were added to Cushman & Wakefield’s growing
portfolio, and assisted clients with strategic recommendations on how
to minimize operating expenses and risk while protecting and enhancing
the value of their asset. Before joining Cushman
& Wakefield’s Atlanta team, Ms. Harper was a Senior Vice President
and Group Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. In this position,
she oversaw a portfolio comprised of more than 2 million square feet of
office space and 12 million square feet of industrial properties
located in Atlanta and Charlotte. She was also responsible for the
financial and operational performance of these assets in addition to
supervising the on-site teams. Prior to Jones Lang
LaSalle, Ms. Harper was a Regional Director of Finance at Equity Office
Properties Trust, where she supervised the financial analysis and
accounting functions relating to that firm’s assets. Using her extensive
financial reporting skills, Ms. Harper provided regular GAAP financial
statements for a 15-million-square-foot portfolio of buildings located
in Atlanta, New York and Washington, D.C. | |
