ABOUT
The BOMA Technical Organization (BTO) is hosting a breakfast seminar prior to the BOMA Show.
The breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. on May 22. There is no cost for BTO members to attend the breakfast; however, pre-registration is required to ensure the correct number of meals are available. Additionally, attendance is limited to building engineers. All breakfast seminar participants are encouraged to attend the BOMA Show.
Topic: Communications - Building Operations to Property Management
Clear and timely communications between property managers and building operations professionals is essential to the operation of high-performance real estate assets. During the annual BTO Breakfast in conjunction with the BOMA Show, a panel of subject matter experts will lead attendees through an exploration of communication competencies for building staff that lead to high-performance during emergency scenarios. Specifically, those in attendance will gain a better understanding of how to respond to urgent situations at their property by having a plan for communication during a disaster or life safety scenario. The program also explores the competencies required to be an incident commander when the stuff hits the fan. Program attendees will leave equipped with resources to help their properties prepare for these unfortunate eventualities.
