Maintaining a presence at exhibitions demonstrates reliability and strength of position in the competitive hydropower sector. Participating in our technical exhibition allows you to meet your audience face-to-face and showcase recent innovations, expertise and solutions whilst significantly raising your profile within the industry. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your customers in a relaxed yet focused atmosphere.

The technical exhibition will run in parallel with the conference programme and spaces are available in the exhibition area adjacent to the main conference hall, where all refreshments and lunches will be served. 

Stand spaces are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. If you are interested in exhibiting, please do the following:

  • View the Exhibition floorplan and select your preferred two space No.s (1st and 2nd choice).
  • Confirm your preferred space No.s to Ellan Campbell-Swann
  • Register as an Exhibitor by clicking on the Registration tab. (BHA member discounts apply - see Exhibitor Fees below.) 

The Exhibition Package

The exhibition arena is located in the main networking and catering area adjacent to the main conference hall. It is our intention to offer a cost-effective package and the registration fee includes:
  • One Exhibitor pass (additional exhibitors must register as delegates)
  • A 3m wide x 2m deep space allocation with a maximum height of 3m. N.B. THERE IS NO SHELL SCHEME (please note that Exhibitors are not permitted to attach anything to the walls).
  • A table, two chairs and access to a power socket
  • Wifi access
  • Delegate pack
  • Access to all conference sessions, refreshments and lunches
  • A listing with logo in the ‘Exhibitor Guide’ section of the printed conference brochure, which is distributed to all delegates

BHA Sponsoring Members:  £780
BHA Principal Company Members:  £845
BHA Company  and International Members:  £895
All other BHA member levels: £995
Non-Members (UK): £995

Exhibitor Notes
  • No food and drink should be brought onto the premises without prior agreement.
  • Build-up is from 19:00 to 21:00 on Monday 9th November and 07:00 to 08:00 on Tuesday 10th November, with breakdown from 16:30 to 19:00 on Wednesday 11th November.
  • Exhibitors are not permitted to attach anything to the walls or other fixtures and fittings)
  • All Exhibitors must be able to provide a completed risk assessment for their exhibition equipment upon request.
  • All electrical equipment must hold a current and valid PAT test certificate. Proof of combined inspection and electrical test may be required. If you are visiting from overseas please remember to bring an adaptor for UK three-pin electrical sockets.
  • There is limited parking at the hotel on a first-come first-served basis and a public car park at the rear of the hotel. Parking charges apply. Short-term access for unloading and loading of exhibition equipment is available.
  • Deliveries will only be accepted (and held at your own risk) during normal office hours – please label deliveries clearly with your Company name and send to "The BHA Annual Conference (10/11 November), The Glasgow City Hotel, Cambridge Street, Glasgow G2 3HN (tel: 0141 626 00620141 626 0062). Returning goods must be labelled with the name of the courier and date of collection. 
  • Exhibitors are responsible for any damage caused to the venue and/or equipment belonging to the venue.
  • Whilst on the premises, exhibition goods and packing materials must be insured at the expense and risk of the Exhibitor. Neither the Glasgow City Hotel nor the BHA can accept any responsibility for damage, loss, theft, disappearance of or injury to anything or anybody due to any cause. The Exhibitor and any contractor under exhibitor employment are obliged to take out adequate insurance at their own cost against third party risks before the start of the exhibition.
