Ms Christine Campbell
Ms Campbell will share her personal experience on the impact painkiller dependence has had on her and her family and its fatal consequences.

Dr James Finn - Addiction Medicine Specialist Registrar Dr Finn will discuss his experience with both prescription and over-the-counter painkiller dependent patients.
              
Mr Mark Anns, Clinical and Scientific Affairs Manager (Indivior)
Mr Anns will provide Indivior’s insight on the current challenges of creating awareness about opioid painkiller dependence and providing access to treatment for patients

Overview:













The session will provide a multifaceted perspective on the endemic problem of painkiller dependence in Australia.

In 2015 INDIVIOR launched a medical education campaign aimed at increasing the awareness of doctors of dependency related to prescription and over the counter opioids.

This session will discuss the campaign and report on observations obtained through talking with medical practitioners. Debates in the medical community will be highlighted and new company initiatives outlined.
