Lighting the Future: ACO 2015 |
In medieval days, a codega [co-dee-gah] walked ahead with a lantern lighting the path, especially when what was ahead seemed unclear and uncertain.
Like the codega, today’s ADHD Coaches walk the path with their clients, shoring up confidence, uncovering clarity, and discovering inspiration as they invite examination of fears and unhelpful beliefs which block their clients’ progress.
As ACO celebrates its 10th anniversary, the Coach as Codega is more relevant than ever before. In only ten years, we have easily learned 10 times more about ADHD, and we have witnessed remarkable results when our clients summon and contribute their full creativity and resourcefulness!
Today, the profession of ADHD Coaching is uniquely positioned and ready to shine a beacon of bright hope into the world.
Around the globe, the profession of coaching has entered our day-to-day dialogue. Thanks to breakthroughs in neuroscience and brain research, TED Talks, global conversations about ADHD, Facebook special interest groups, on-line assessments, quizzes, and the increasingly common celebrity/CEO interview about thriving with ADHD, a bright picture of people with ADHD has emerged. Today, ADHD conversation has emerged from dark to light.
This heightened awareness, along with a need for constant complexity and change, makes working with the modern day codega, the skilled ADHD Coach, a smart move. In fact, it’s a no brainer.
Together we will: Showcase opportunities to explore, learn, and grow awareness and impact of ADHD Coaching within our communities. Expand the reach and visibility of ADHD coaching by leveraging the diversity of our members. Establish awareness of our ADHD clients as people that are already creative, resourceful, and whole.
The 8th Annual International ACO Conference is designed for coaches and other professionals working within the ADHD community.
Programming includes two keynote addresses and twenty three breakout sessions.
We want our conference attendees to be participants, because we know that each person at this conference has something unique to add. We know that each person attending is looking for ways to expand mindsets, increase skillsets, refine business practices, form professional community, invite everyone in, and to become well-equipped coaches with access to world class tools, practices, connections, and strategies.
