To enter the contest, create a poster around the theme “celebrate” and submit your design by noon on August 15 to PosterShow@aigaiowa.org. AIGA Iowa has teamed up with EDWARDS to offer top of the line digital printing, and your design will be printed on 12x18 heavy matte paper donated by Field Paper Company. Don’t worry about picking it up or dropping it off -- just email us your file, and we’ll take care of the rest! View specific file set-up instructions below.
FILE SET-UP + SENDING INSTRUCTIONS
Set up your file to 12" by 18" with a 1" white border (for a design size of 10x16), and save your design as a pdf. We will not be able to accept jpegs or any other file format. Make sure the resolution is 300dpi with no bleed, and name your file with your first and last name (e.g. JOHNSMITH.pdf).
Each participant may submit up to two poster designs. Poster entries must be emailed to PosterShow@aigaiowa.org by August 7th. We will be unable to accept files after this date.
If you prefer to make your own screen-printed or other hand-crafted poster instead of submitting a digital file, just contact Brianna Dawson at PosterShow@aigaiowa.org to make arrangements. These posters must be the same size as the other posters –- 12" by 18" with a 1" white border.
