HEADLINE CATEGORIES FINAL JUDGING DAY

The Headline Categories are our most hotly contested Awards, and for 2014 are subject to a special final judging process. All companies shortlisted for the nine categories will have the opportunity to send one representative per category they are shortlisted in to the Headline Categories final judging day, to pitch their entry face to face to the judging panel.

Each shortlisted company will have 5 minutes to present to the judging panel, to tell them why they should win the Award, followed by 5 minutes Q&A.

The Headline Categories final judging day will take place on Monday 3 November at The Langham, London.

The Headline Categories:

Affiliate of the year
Bingo operator
Casino operator
Mobile operator - NEW
Operator of the year
Poker operator
Rising star
Socially responsible operator
Sports betting operator

Please note that all the other categories are subject to the standard final judging process, where the judging panel will select the winners based upon the information provided by the shortlisted entry forms.

THE JUDGING PROCESS

The judging process is rigorous and thorough to ensure that all the entries receive full consideration and that the true winners are chosen.  The panel of industry professionals are involved in two separate judging stages:

Step one: Judges will review all the entries based on the criteria and will then draw up their shortlists. This will take place over the course of a week via conference calls.

Step two: Judges will meet together for a final judging day when the winners will be decided.

Please note:
Performance, activity and initiatives between 1 August 2013 and 31 July 2014 will be considered.
