Course Description

The purpose of this course is to provide a Reformed theological foundation of worship and the sacraments that informs the education for and the practice of each in the congregational setting. 

Courses are designed to meet the requirements for the Christian Educator Certification in the Presbyterian Church (USA). This is an online course, with both synchronous and asynchronous assignments. Asynchronous work begins August 1. Assignments and course documents will be posted on Blackboard. Each registered participant will receive login credentials to Blackboard, the seminary's learning management system.

This course also includes four (4) synchronous class meetings, hosted via Zoom, on Tuesdays, August 6, August 13, August 20, and August 27, 2024, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. ET

Standard Registration (begins July 18): $300

*These mandatory, synchronous (live) class meetings will take place via Zoom technology. Each registered participant will receive the class meeting link prior to the beginning of the course. The same link will be used for each session. All meeting times are Eastern Time.
