Question:   What's included in the registration fee?
Answer: The registration fee includes admission to the event and lunch (in-person).
Question:   Why is the streaming fee higher?
Answer: Obligations to third-party vendors require us to charge a little more for streaming participants.
Question:   What payments are accepted?
Answer: We accept checks, Mastercard, and Visa.  Credit card payments are made at the time of registration.  Make checks payable to "IIA Tidewater Chapter" and send to:

Check payments must be received prior to the start of the event.  If check payment is not received within 3 weeks after registration, differential fees may apply.

Question:   What's the cancellation policy?
Answer: Cancellations must be made in writing before the event's start date.  There is no cancellation fee for cancellations received on or before August 15, 2024.  A nonrefundable service charge of US $100 per registrant will be charged for cancellations received from August 16, 2024 through September 1, 2024.  No refunds will be given for cancellations received after September 1, 2024.  All requests for refunds will be processed within 30 days following the program.
Question:   What's the substitution policy?
Answer: Substitutions are allowed.  Please notify us at chapter93@theiia.org of substitutions prior to Friday, August 16th at 11:59p. 
Question:   How many CPEs for this event?
Answer: Participants of this event may qualify for up to 16 hours of continuing professional education credit (CPE). 
Question:   What if I have special needs?
Answer: If you have a disability and may require special assistance to participate fully, please be sure to indicate the type of assistance you require during the registration process.  Alternative lunch options are available upon request; be sure to notify Tony Markun at amarkun@cityofchesapeake.net
Question:   Why is my Global Account Number (GAN) / membership number not working?
Answer:

This is a tricky one.  There are several possible reasons.  Please send an email to chapter93@iiachaptercommunications.org with your name, membership number, and chapter affiliation. 

   
Question:   What if I would like to change my Registration Category?  
Answer:

No worries; just send an email to chapter93@iiachaptercommunications.org with the name and email used to register.  However, differential fees may be associated with the change.  We will email details about the differential cost and request authorization before making the change.
