What is the headquarters hotel for the Annual Meeting?
There isn’t one specific headquarter hotel this year. SBL & AAR sessions will be held primarily in the San Diego Convention center and surrounding hotels. The Book Exhibits will be held at the San Diego Convention Center.
Housing for the SBL & AAR Annual Meetings 2024 is now closed. The hotels have received and uploaded all information into their systems. If you need to make any changes, cancellations, or if you wish to book a new reservation, please review information located here.
Please note that the Annual Meetings hotel block was reserved for the dates November 22-26. If you are trying to change dates to include dates outside of this range (for example, checking in November 20) the hotel may not honor the Annual Meetings discounted rate.
I've called the hotel directly to make changes to my reservations and they do not have my record. What do I do?
Housing for the SBL & AAR Annual Meetings 2024 is now closed. We are in the process of sending booking lists to the hotels and they will need to upload it into their systems. This process takes 7-10 business days so please do not contact the hotel prior to November 8th as they will not have your information. After November 8, please contact the hotel directly for any changes or cancellations.
Where is my hotel located?
If you check your registration confirmation, you will see a link that will take you to your registration and housing confirmation page. Click on that and you will see your housing information, that includes an address to the hotel.

I am only attending one day and will purchase my registration on site. How do I book a hotel room?
To be able to book a hotel room at the Annual Meeting discounted rate, you must be registered prior to selecting a hotel. The ability to book a hotel at the Annual Meeting hotel rate will close on October 24.
Will there be a shuttle from hotel to the convention center?
No, there will not be an Annual Meetings bus or shuttle from the hotels to convention center this year.
