Course Description

Courses are designed to meet the requirements for the Christian Educator Certification in the PC(USA). This is an online course, with both synchronous and asynchronous assignments. Assignments and course documents will be posted on Blackboard. Each registered participant will receive login credentials to Blackboard, the seminary's learning management system.

Through assigned readings, class lectures, and group discussions, this course presents an overview of leading themes in the Reformed theological tradition, especially as presented in selected texts from the PC(USA) Book of Confessions. This course is open to all and it is not necessary to be seeking certification in order to participate.
 

The course date is June 18-July 23, 2024. The synchronous class meetings will be via Zoom on TUESDAYS from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

*These mandatory, synchronous (live) class meetings will take place via Zoom technology. Each registered participant will receive the class meeting link prior to the beginning of the course. The same link will be used for each session. All meeting times are Eastern Time.
