The Saturday Night Entertainment will be located at The Durham Museum. The museum is a quick 20-minute walk, or quick Uber/bus ride from the hotel. Construction of Union Station, which today houses The Durham Museum, commenced on July 29, 1929, on the site of the 1899 station. At its peak, 64 passenger trains and some 10,000 passengers utilized the facility every day. Today, The Durham Museum offers a fascinating look at the history of the region and offers a broad range of traveling exhibits covering subjects ranging from history and culture to science, industry and more.
In addition to everything the museum already has to offer, we will have a DJ and be encouraging members to join the fun in their best `90’s country gear. Think Garth Brooks, brush popper shirts and colored Rockies jeans.
